All of Nourish Foods are handmade each week in Birmingham, Alabama, using excellent quality products by trained chefs. Only fresh ingredients are used, and healthy recipes developed for nutrition and presentation. No preparing a thing! All you do is warm and plate
We have been traveling a lot this summer and are ready to reset our schedule at home. I have to admit that I am not the cook around here. My husband does all of the cooking as he has for most of our thirty-six years of marriage. It’s not that I can’t cook, it’s just that he loves to do it and I don’t really enjoy cooking or shopping for meals. I do, however, think that it’s nice if he doesn’t have to do it all of the time. Here is where Nourish Foods come to the rescue for me. All I have to do is order the meals I want on-line and poof; they are delivered (packed with ice packs) and get this, ready to eat! No preparing anything! All you do is warm and plate them.
Super laid back subscription plans
On their website, you choose whether you want Individual, Couples, of Family Plans. Of course, the more you order, the better the price but meals start at $13.19. Just pick the subscription plan that works for you, choose your specific meals from the menus that you want to be delivered the following week and check out. Each Monday morning, you will get a text on your phone to choose your meals from the Nourish menu for the next weeks delivery. The menu rotates each week. You can also pause your subscription or cancel at any time.
Delicious meals that go from fridge to table
Let’s talk about what I ordered. I love sweets, so the first thing I ordered was the Energy Bites on my given menu. Dang, they were so yummy! My photographer shooting these photos loved them too! I also wanted to try the two kinds of chicken salad, traditional and smoked. Both were delicious. I ordered the Tuna Nicoise and Beef Bearnaise with Thyme Roasted Carrots and Parsnips for two of our nightly meals. When I tell you that all I had to do was take the meal out of the fridge, remove the shrink wrap and meal sleeve and follow the directions for heating on the sleeve (can be microwaved and not even put in another dish), that’s it! Look how pretty the Tuna Nicoise looks! Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh!
Nourish Foods can work with allergies
I bet you are wondering about how this works with any allergies you may have. The foods are prepared in a kitchen that processes common allergens, like nuts, eggs, soy, shellfish, gluten, and milk. However, they can accommodate all of the above allergies. When checking out, just make sure you select your specific allergies, and each week you can choose the meals that are appropriate. You all, I am obsessed with this Nourish Foods! This is such an easy way to eat if you are single, a couple, or a family. I love when I get to introduce you all to something you might not be familiar with. I promise this is the easiest way to serve dinner when you would rather be playing tennis, playing with grandkids, taking a class, or whatever. You simply heat these meals and put them on a plate.
