REFRESHING AFTER THE HOLIDAYS

Happy Friday, Ladies! It’s officially the end of the first week of 2023, and if you’re anything like me, you’re feeling the urge to purge right about now! After a house-wide clean-up of all the Christmas decor, empty boxes, and wrapping paper, I start finding a home for all the new additions to our space. At this point, I often find myself looking around and thinking my decor could use a little refreshing after the holidays, and this year is no different!

My home is my sanctuary, and that becomes more true every time I leave town. I love to go, but I love to come home more. However, after shopping around my favorite shops in Rosemary Beach last week, I am itching to change a few things around the house. That said, I thought I might share my picks with you all in case you were feeling the same way and needing a little inspo! My home has a fairly neutral interior, so I love brightening up the space with pops of colors or interesting pieces like this unique plant pot (she’s cute, right?). If all else fails, a cozy throw in an interesting texture or print can be just the refresh a room needs! What style do you gravitate towards when you’re looking to shake things up? Let me know in the comments; I love to see and hear what sparks joy for you!

We are having an early dinner with our youngest son and his wife tonight. They live in an area called Bishop Arts, around thirty minutes away from us. We are trying a new restaurant (for us). We have babysitting duty for a few hours for our oldest granddaughter tomorrow, then dinner with friends tomorrow night. My sister-in-law is coming to town on Sunday, so we will all get together for dinner with her. It looks like a busy weekend! What are you all up to?

Have a great weekend! Be well and Stay safe! xx
